At UCP of Sacramento and Northern California we give children and adults with developmental disabilities the tools and support they need to live a life without limits. Each month, UCP enriches the lives of 5,730 clients in our eight-county region. Our programs and services offer a chance for our clients to grow, thrive and feel included.
Services and programs include:
Family Respite Service – provides a much needed break for families caring for someone with developmental disabilities
Autism Center for Excellence – teaching friendship and communications skills to kids ages 7-12 with autism
Adult Day Programs – focusing on daily living skills, communications and community interaction
Transportation – UCP’s shuttle and buses give clients mobility, independence and a connection to the community
Horsemanship – Building physical agility and confidence for clients and veterans
What’s in a name?
UCP is so much more than cerebral palsy. UCP provides support for a wide range of developmental disabilities including Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, Epilepsy, Down syndrome, Asperger’s, Cerebral Palsy and more.
