About
We have combined computer vision, machine learning, control, and cinematography. The result is our adaptive motion control technology, which won various awards, from the Swiss Technology Award to NAB Product of the Year. It transforms any camera into an autonomous camera! The hardware-agnostic technology represents a revolutionary change in studio and sports production and leads to consistently high quality at significantly lower production costs. A cameraman needs to understand what is going on in his camera's viewfinder. Our computer vision pipeline relies on the newest and most advanced neural networks to analyze every single frame captured by any production camera in order to detect objects of interest, the background and the overall scenery. Like a cameraman, we create an internal model of the scene so we can build information that propagates in time - a live map of the scene and its points of interest so you can design your production around them. We can go back to a person who was discovered in the audience 5 minutes ago and do a perfect pan-tilt-zoom-focus reframing within a second. And best of all, the camera movements look 100% human. In contrast to other, integrated systems, our solutions adapt seamlessly to existing production processes and hardware. We are not dependent on external, additional tracking devices, but work purely vision-based. With our technology, multi-camera robot setups will collaborate to segment and understand unexplored scenes and then execute all operational tasks of traditional camera crews autonomously. Through automation and AI, we take video production to the next level.
