Marshfield Clinic Health System Information Services (MCHS IS) is the IT shared services division of the Health System. MCHS IS is dedicated to delivering and managing cutting edge products and services for healthcare providers. MCHS IS is the product of Marshfield Clinic’s 50 year commitment to the use of information technology to benefit patients and physicians in the pursuit of excellent medical care. It produces products and services that enable the effective and efficient practice of medicine at an affordable cost. MCHS IS has the passion and experience to deliver on the promise to improve patient and population health by optimized use of information technology. Our broad customer experience includes working with outpatient clinics, hospitals, insurance companies, research foundations, and dental operations to develop solutions that meet their needs. To do so we are constantly pushing the frontier with new IT innovations such as cloud computing, device agnostic mobile computing, and hosted services. Marshfield Clinic utilizes its products and services to deliver better outcomes at lower costs during the CMS Demonstration Project. This history underscores our fundamental belief that for a health IT company to revolutionize health care through improved services, it must be intimately associated with its core constituents: patients and providers. This rich history of collaboration between healthcare provider and the IT service is paramount to the success of MCHS. From inception this model provides access to numerous practicing physicians across more than 80 medical specialties.
