The Flint Firebirds are a proud member of the Ontario Hockey League and the Canadian Hockey League. The CHL incorporates the Ontario Hockey League, the Western Hockey League, and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. It represents the premiere player development league in the world. Nearly 70% of all active NHL contracted players have graduated from the Canadian Hockey League. The Flint Firebirds play at the newly renovated Dort Federal Event Center in Flint, Michigan.
