In 2004, Giardino Gourmet Salads founders believed there was a void in the fast-casual space that needed to be filled. There are many restaurants that serve salads, but Giardino Gourmet Salads has defined its own category – globally inspired salads, wraps, grain bowls, soups and sandwiches focused on Nutritional Empowerment™ at a great value. The menu features a customizable wide variety of salads, wraps and grain bowls from more than 90 fresh ingredients across an array of freshly chopped leafy greens, vegetables, fruits, proteins, dozens of different dressings, homemade deli salads, sauces, and daily baked homemade croutons. The first Giardino Gourmet Salads opened in 2004 in Coral Gables, Florida under the direction of Ody and Kenny Lugo with the goal of providing the freshest ingredients and the best quality salads, wraps and bowls in a warm, inviting and family-friendly atmosphere. Giardino Gourmet Salads established a clear culture from day one – a fun and personal connection with guests that takes healthier food and elevates it to a new experience while driving community engagement.
