Formed in 1987, EPG Insurance, Inc., specializes in meeting the insurance needs of heavy equipment owners, distributors and manufacturers. Our program portfolio includes point of sale physical damage insurance for Forestry and Construction equipment, Extended Warranty for heavy equipment and Loss Damage Waiver for rental equipment. EPG Insurance, Inc. is one of only a handful of American insurance agencies to be tribunalized by Lloyds of London. This affords us the ability to offer flexibility and innovation to our customers. Additionally it allows us to maintain our programs as best in class status. Program business has been the main thrust of our company from the beginning. The design and start up of point-of-purchase marketing of physical damage insurance for logging and construction equipment began in the last half of 1988. Business initially came through John Deere industrial dealers in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. Within three months, dealers throughout the United States were using the program. From this beginning, EPG continued to grow and develop programs to meet the needs of our customers. In the early 1990's, we developed programs for rental equipment and extended warranty products for all types of industrial equipment. JCB, Inc of North America became the first factory sponsor of extended warranty from EPG. Today, we represent a number of manufacturers for extended warranty and countless dealerships. We also offer extended warranty for used equipment and serve numerous dealerships with loss damage waiver programs. As our programs and reputation have grown in the heavy equipment industry we have partnered with not only manufacturers and dealers but finance companies as well. We have worked with and continue to work with finance companies such as CitiCapital, CNH Capital, Newcourt and Orix Credit. Our commitment to the heavy equipment industry is unmatched in the insurance business. From getting the right insurance product to the manufacturer, distributor or end user, all the way through to providing outstanding claims service.
