About
Engent is a provider of advanced electronic manufacturing and technology services. Engent leverages its world-class facilities, highly experienced and educated team to provide solutions to a sophisticated client base which shorten a product's time to market and which enable products to be manufactured at high volumes. Engent's services comprise manufacturing, research, and development services for the electronics industry. Engent's diverse customer base results from the broad array of services it offers. Engent has provided solutions in advanced electronics production, product design for manufacture, and assembly processes as well as analytical, reliability and failure testing services to its clients. All of these services allow Engent to support our customers well beyond the need to just assemble their products. The Engent approach is to provide a suite of services that compliment advanced manufacturing and allows the customer to ensure quick time to market with the most robust and reliable product. This initiative was originally launched in October 2001 as a Division of Siemens Dematic Electronics Assembly Systems ("SDEAS") near Atlanta, Georgia. Siemens Dematic manufactures automated assembly equipment to the electronics industry (link to original press release). Engent, an employee owned entity, now occupies and possesses rights these world-class facilities, which include state of the art equipment and a class-10,000 clean room, built in 2001 for over $10 million. Engent still maintains a close relationship with Siemens Dematic and is a member of the Siemens Dematic Advanced Technology Network.
