About
Ideal Aerosmith has been providing test solutions since its founding in 1938 by former airline mechanics. Immediately, Ideal became well-known in aviation maintenance shops because of our instrument test equipment such as the Scorsby Table and the Manual Tilt & Turn Table. During the early 1980's, Ideal developed its initial automatic position and rate table system with Litton Industries. Ideal Aerosmith has now become a leader in providing precision motion simulation test systems to high-tech companies around the world. Our Single and Multi-Axis Positioning & Rate Table Systems, Centrifuge Systems, and Non-Magnetic Calibration Stands are used for testing inertial sensors and systems including gyroscopic components, accelerometers, aviation instrumentation, inertial navigation systems (INS), IRUs, IMS, MEMS and downhole (MWD) sensors. Although originally designed for use for commercial aviation applications, the advances in gyros and MEMS sensors have created a need for our test equipment in a wide variety of markets including the aerospace, defense, automotive, marine, navigation, communication, and oil exploration industries. Our automatic motion simulation test table systems are generally used for rate, acceleration, G, natural frequency / oscillation, and motion profile testing in development or production testing applications.
