Mold-Rite Plastics was incorporated in 1976; we started with five used injection molding machines and six full time employees, in a 7,200 square foot building. We moved in 1979 to a 22,500 square foot building with twelve used injection molding machines and twenty employees. In the early 1980's there was a great demand for tamper evidency in the packaging world; we purchased 1 and 2 up lining machines. Adding this feature proved very profitable and in the mid 1980's we added jars to our line of closures, purchased land and a 10,000 square foot warehouse. Various styles of continuous thread closures were added and lining capabilities grew tremendously. In the mid 1990's we added Child Resistant Caps (CRC's) to our product line and expanded once again to 150,000 square feet and 160 employees.
