The Taproot Foundation started in San Francisco 13 years ago to meet a social need: Our communities’ biggest challenges are met through the work of nonprofit organizations that are creative, but under-resourced in the marketing, design, technology, management, and strategic planning resources they need to deliver on their missions. After over a decade of practice and research, Taproot’s Bay Area office has grown from delivering a single marketing project to over 800 consulting engagements; from engaging three volunteers, to 3,500.
