Elemeno Health was co-founded in 2016 by UCSF Pediatric ICU Medical Director Arup Roy-Burman, MD, and veteran Electronic Arts (EA) Game Developer, Ed Nanale, to address a critical, unmet need in healthcare. We are backed by leading seed-stage digital health investor, Launchpad Digital Health, Silicon Valley tech accelerator, Y Combinator, and leading regulatory tech venture investor, Fenway Summer. Modern hospitals and other healthcare providers are characterized by sophisticated equipment, highly qualified professionals, and exquisitely formulated treatments as well as a stunning lack of tools to ensure that those resources (hardware, humans, and remedies) are applied correctly. Medical errors are the third-leading cause of death in the US. Elemeno's co-founders decided to tackle this problem by developing a cloud-based solution for frontline healthcare teams.
