NEW Cooperative™ exists to create value for its farmer-members and to improve their equity in the organization. At the end of every day, we want to know our farmers are more successful, thanks to their connection with NEW Co-op, than they would be alone. At first, it was a matter of efficiency. The Farmers Cooperative in Badger, Iowa needed access to rail transportation. Farmers in nearby Vincent were looking for more grain to fill 50-car trains shipping from that location.
