About
As one of the nation’s largest managed care organizations, Community Behavioral Health (CBH) provides a variety of behavioral health services to Philadelphia County’s most vulnerable residents—adults, adolescents, and children who are Medicaid eligible. We are a non-profit organization managed by the City of Philadelphia and the behavioral health arm of the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS), which offers a variety of mental health and substance abuse services to eligible Philadelphians. In collaboration with the Philadelphia Office of Mental Health (OHM) and the Office of Addiction Services (OAS), CBH plans for and coordinates the delivery of covered services, including inpatient, partial hospital, residential and outpatient psychiatric and drug/alcohol treatment. Taken together, all entities deliver a comprehensive, integrated system of care, one that takes a long-term view of our members’ needs, including employment and community (re)integration, as well as their immediate health concerns. CBH MISSION CBH will meet the behavioral health needs of the Philadelphia community by assuring access, quality and fiscal accountability through being a high performing, efficient, and nimble organization driven by quality, performance and outcomes. CBH VISION We envision CBH as a diverse, innovative, and vibrant organization in which we are empowered to support wellness, resiliency, and recovery for all Philadelphians.
