The BC College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) is the regulator for all nurses in BC: licensed practical nurses (LPNs), nurse practitioners (NPs), registered nurses (RNs) and registered psychiatric nurses (RPNs). We protect the public by setting standards of practice, assessing nursing education programs and addressing complaints about BCCNP registrants.
BCCNP was established Sept. 4, 2018, through the amalgamation of three nursing colleges: the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC, the College of Registered Nurses of BC, and the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of BC.
