Our vista of the future is grounded in the CCS Mission. Community Colleges of Spokane is committed to providing quality, multicultural, comprehensive, student-centered education and lifelong learning opportunities accessible to all individuals who can benefit. It's our promise to you that we'll continually strive to keep pace with the employment scene and offer courses, certificates and degrees that result in jobs, liberal arts transfers and career advancement for our graduates. It's our pure commitment to provide you with an affordable high-quality education. We have a commitment to be responsive and accessible to you - our students, our graduates, our employees, and our community. Of course, a lot depends on what type of environment you're looking for. But, we have to ask...where else can you: drive two hours (or less) and ski at six different resorts in the winter, swim in 100 different area lakes during the summer, cycle nonstop on 35 miles of uninterrupted bike trails, see five Broadway shows in a year, picnic in 60 city recreational parks, attend professional hockey, soccer and baseball games, enjoy an active arts community with museums, galleries, theater, symphony and opera, watch the four distinct seasons and their vibrant displays, or experience the diversity of our growing population. Spokane Falls Community College: Located just west of downtown Spokane on 113 acres, also on the Spokane River. SFCC accentuates a strong liberal Associates of Arts (A.A.) transfer program for students planning to achieve a four-year college degree.
