Gifted Music School is a nationally recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit educational institution in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are committed to defining the standard for high-level music education and providing outstanding, comprehensive training to children of all backgrounds. Gifted Music School currently serves 582 students ages 0-18 and our faculty is made up of 50 world-class teaching artists. Founded in 2008 by Eugene and Vera Watanabe, Gifted Music School operates multiple programs that form an integrated pathway from preschool through high school graduation. From our full-scholarship, international level conservatory to our Title I elementary outreach program, and our Early Childhood Education classes to Adult Music Education course offerings, each program is vital to the others in achieving our long-term goal—to create a pathway that enables children to become the community leaders and engaged citizens of tomorrow.
