Ouray Sportswear is an established decorated apparel and headwear manufacturer headquartered in Englewood, Colorado since 1965. We offer a complete line of distinctive, high-quality sportswear for men, women, and children with a distribution network of over 5,000 collegiate, resort, retail, corporate, promotional, and camp customers throughout North America, South Pacific, and the Caribbean. In 1965, Bill Musselman founded Ski Country Imports (d.b.a. Ouray Sportswear) after returning from Europe with a passion for skiing and a vision to bring the best ski and sport accessories to America's young ski industry. From the beginning, the Musselman family has been involved in every aspect of the business. Today, after attending college and gaining experience in other industries, all five children have returned to the company. The company grew exponentially as it expanded its product line to include embroidered apparel and caps in the early 1980s. It was obvious that the demand for these decorated items was pulling the company away from its winter ski roots towards a more diversified year-round business. In the early 1990's, Ski County Imports (SCI) made a conscious decision to expand its customer base beyond winter ski resorts to include resorts that served summer clientele, marketing and promotional companies and corporations. In 1997, SCI introduced the Ouray Sportswear line of apparel and headwear. This branded, fully merchandised line is designed to offer customers distinctive, quality decorated items at affordable prices. Once again, the company adapted its name from SCI to Ouray Sportswear to better reflect its core business. Ouray Sportswear, named after a small mountain town in the majestic Rocky Mountains of Colorado, reflects the vitality of the lifestyles and outdoor endeavors our customers pursue. Recognizing that Ouray Sportswear has much to offer to colleges and universities, the company launched its collegiate marketing effort in 2002. Debuting at the CAMEX show, Ouray Sportswear received rave reviews from bookstore buyers, licensing bodies, and industry pundits alike. Ouray is leveraging nearly 40 years of experience to firmly entrench itself as the vendor-of-choice in the collegiate marketplace. Today, Ouray Sportswear services over 5,000 customers throughout the United States and internationally, ranging from small, family-owned shops to large, multi-national corporations.
