Gateway Community Services was formed by Abdullahi Ali with the support of community members and social service professionals in 2014. At Gateway Community Services, we provide counseling, case management and home health care to eligible adults and children with Mainecare. We specialize in offering culturally aware services to refugees and immigrants to help them begin the process of healing and learning to navigate life in Maine. Abdullahi's experiences as a Somali refugee in Kenya and as a case manager in Maine gave him the skills and knowledge of the system to create an organization where experiences of trauma and dislocation as well as resilience and cultural strengths are honored.Gateway Community Services Address
