Al Otro Lado assists refugees, deportees, and their families in Tijuana, Mexico and Los Angeles, California. We recruit and train legal and medical volunteers to provide services to refugees seeking protection at our Southern border. Our Deportee Assistance Programs serve those who may be able to return to the United States legally, as well as those who wish to make a life for themselves in Tijuana.
