The YMCA’s mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Four core values—caring, honesty, respect and responsibility—are taught and modeled throughout the Y. Our goal is to help people of all ages and backgrounds reach their full potential in spirit, mind and body.
The YMCA of Greater Saint Paul, organized in 1856, is one of the largest social service agencies in our metropolitan region, serving boys, girls, men and women of all ages, backgrounds, ethnic groups, and faiths. It is comprised of eleven membership and two community branches, three resident camps, five day camps, dozens of child care locations, and hundreds of youth development program sites.
