Martin Resource Management Corp (Martin) is a leading independent provider of transportation, terminalling, marketing and logistics management services for hydrocarbon products and by-products, chemicals, other bulk liquids, as well as providing fee-based services. In addition, Martin owns 100% of the General Partner interest and approximately 36% of the Limited Partner units in Martin Midstream Partners (NASDAQ: MMLP), a publicly traded master limited partnership. Martin also has interests in Ican Energy, a Tulsa, Oklahoma based LPG distributor. Martin's primary business focus is to: provide truck and marine transportation, terminalling and logistics management for various liquid products; market these products such as sulfuric acid, heavy and light fuel oils, asphalt, paper mill liquids and lube oils to wholesale, industrial and end users such as tugs, ships and vessels in the Southeast and Gulf of Mexico; and provide services such as shore base logistics from based located to serve the Gulf of Mexico E & P business. The company operates throughout North America, with principal focus in the Southern United States. In conducting its transportation and logistics management operations, Martin utilizes a fleet of trucks, trailers, inland tank barges, inland pushboats/crewboats, bulk liquid terminalling locations, as well as various equipment such as cranes, blenders, acid cutters, packaging equipment and other assets to serve our customers. Products handled include sulphur, sulfuric acid, fuel oil, LP Gas, asphalt, chemicals, lube oils and other bulk liquids. Customers include many Fortune 500 companies in industries such as petroleum, agriculture, petrochemical and utilities.
