Shrieve Chemical Company was formed in 1978 in The Woodlands, Texas, to supply sulfur based commodities. From this strong base, Shrieve Chemical expanded into sulfuric acid and nitrogen based products. Shrieve Chemical Products was established 10 years later after acquiring the Chevron ZerolTM business which has since been developed into specialty performance fluids. In 1995 Shrieve expanded once again with the oilfield chemicals division, focused on supplying environmentally friendly drilling fluids and lubricants.
