The Community of Christ was organised in 1830 in the state of New York in the United States. Our World Headquarters and Temple dedicated to the pursuit of peace, are located in Independence, Missouri, USA. The Church was introduced to Australia in 1840 and was organised as an Australasian Mission in 1874. Today the church has 22 congregations across Australia.
