DAC Beachcroft Dublin is part of DAC Beachcroft LLP, an international law firm comprising in excess of 2,500 staff and benefiting from the depth and reach of a legal network with coverage across Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and North America. DAC Beachcroft Dublin specialises in the following five service lines:- 1) Insurance (Non-Injury) : Our insurance team led by Katie da Gama and Noreen Howard, provides a full dispute resolution and claims support service to our insurance clients. We advise insurers in relation to claims across a broad spectrum of business lines, professional indemnity, D&O liability, errors & omissions liability, financial lines, cyber breaches, property damage, healthcare, professional negligence, medical mal-practice and dispute resolution. 2) Insurance - Defendant Personal Injury : Our defendant personal injury team led by James Colville, provides a service specifically designed to reduce our clients' indemnity spend. The Dublin team is one of the largest dedicated defendant personal Injury teams in Ireland, with a focus in three specific service lines, fraud claims, large loss claims and health & Safety claims. 3) Employment Law : Our employment team led by Barry Reynolds, works closely with our clients to prevent and manage the risks arising from employment relationships from their inception to termination. Our approach is to understand the client's business and to strengthen their position by avoiding risks where possible and otherwise to anticipate and mitigate those risks. Our expertise includes atypical work arrangements; bullying; harassment and victimisation; dismissals, disciplinary and performance management; drafting, reviewing and revising employment contracts; employee handbooks; whistleblowing; employment equality and discrimination; harmonisation of employee terms and conditions; health and safety; absence management and T.U.P.E. 4) Commercial Litigation : Our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team led by Lisa Broderick, is one of the leading litigation practices in Ireland, and has particular expertise in complex, high-value cases heard in the Commercial List of the High Court. We have considerable knowledge of discovery and data management issues, which have become a major element of litigation. We have dealt with corporate, property and financial services disputes. We have brought and defended Judicial Reviews. We have a growing expertise of environmental law, defamatus and privacy and intellectual property matters. We have also dealt with product liability, landlord and tenant and pension litigation. Our aim is to achieve the best commercial outcome for our clients whilst minimising the cost, damage and disruption to their business. 5) Regulatory, Professional and Public Law : We provide regulatory, professional and public law services to clients across all of our industry sectors, including healthcare, public, sport, insurance, financial services and the professions. This department is led by Gary Rice. Our services help our clients deal with the range of legal issues that they face every day, quickly and cost-effectively. We have particular experience dealing with all aspects of inspections, investigations, and inquiries, to include, tribunals of inquiry; statutory inquiries; regulators' investigations; inspections arising from protected disclosures; fitness to practise proceedings; inquests; integrity proceedings; health and safety prosecutions.
