For more than 100 years, Vision Loss Resources has created a community of services, skills, and support for people in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area living with vision loss or deaf-blindness. By learning new skills and connecting with others going through similar experiences, our clients adapt, connect, and thrive, opening doors to new opportunities rather than seeing their world narrowing. Our work includes:
Training & Classes
Rehabilitation services and adaptive skills training for older adults and working-age adults.
Social & Emotional Support
We bring people with vision loss together through social activities, support groups, and peer mentoring to help people adjust to this new phase in their lives.
Outreach & Education
We teach the community about our services through trainings and presentations for professionals who work with the visually impaired.
DeafBlind Services Minnesota
The only program of its kind in the country, DeafBlind Services brings one-to-one support to deafblind individuals of all ages, throughout the state of Minnesota.
