The Governor's Academy is the oldest continuously operating boarding school in the nation. We prepare students for a successful future while celebrating the traditions of a long history. Since our founding days, students have grown into the kind of leaders who put the needs of the wider world before their own. Our earliest graduates helped shape a young nation, among them, a Revolutionary War hero, a naval commander, and a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Today, while much has changed, the heart of what we do is the same. We are educating the leaders of tomorrow.
