About
Every student deserves the best chance possible to learn to read. Reading opens the doors for success in school and in the future. For some students, however, reading is a struggle that interferes with reaching their full potential. We specialize in providing research-based reading instruction for beginning, at-risk and struggling readers, both in our tutoring centers and educational development courses. Our accredited Orton-Gillingham programs (Phonics First® K-5 and Structures® 6-12), build a strong foundation for reading success. Research has shown multisensory structured language programs, like ours, actually build learning pathways in the brains of struggling readers, including those with dyslexia and learning disabilities. We believe teacher expertise unlocks student potential and we are committed to offering high-quality professional development courses. We know that reading difficulties affect students of all ages and backgrounds; therefore we offer personalized educational services to meet the needs of diverse students, schools and districts. We continue to support schools and teachers through classroom coaching and by sharing information and ideas on our blog: https://brainspring.com/ortongillinghamweekly
