Welcome to Edinburgh University Formula Student. Our team was established in October 2014, and we entered our first Formula Student competition at Silverstone, UK in July 2015, where we placed 6th in the Class 2 event. We designed our car and produced a fully developed chassis within 8 months of conception, and gained a huge amount of knowledge at the event, which will enable us to succeed in the following year. For 2016, we are aiming to enter the Class 1 competition, which involves designing, manufacturing and racing a fully functional open-wheel race car around the Silverstone race circuit against universities from across the world.Edinburgh University Formula Student Address
