The Twinsburg Public Library’s mission is to inform, entertain, educate and inspire the members of the communities it serves (Twinsburg City, Twinsburg Township, Village of Reminderville)
It provides space to speak, think, meet, work and create. Connects users to tangible & intangible resources and materials to transform or enhance their lives.
Governed by a volunteer seven-member Board, the library is managed by a director and fiscal officer and staffed by over 50 full and part time personnel. The Library is funded by local property taxes (2 mill) and by state funding. Currently state funding is approximately 40 % of the library’s budget, with local property tax amounting to nearly 56%. In addition to other miscellaneous revenue, two support organizations fund both programming and capital projects. These two organizations are the Friends and the Foundation. In addition to its one building, the Library also has a Mobile Library which makes visits to various parts of the community who lack access to the main building.
