LGC has a particular focus on complex LLC, partnership and S-Corporation taxation and structuring matters with a national clientele base. Our tax practice is larger than some of the large Chicago law firms, with many of our attorneys also being CPAs and/or LLMs in taxation. We also regularly consult with other legal, accounting and business professionals to assist them in tax minimization and structuring of their transactions. We have been privileged to work on a wide variety of large transactions across a wide number of industries which have contributed greatly to the success and growth of our practice. LGC is regularly entrusted with very significant matters typically serviced by large law forms. Yet, we are small enough to work with start-ups and early stage companies. For over 30 years, LGC has conducted two-day in-depth seminars in numerous cities across the country on partnership, LLC and S corporation taxation topics. One seminar focuses on the fundamental concepts of flow-through taxation, and the other seminar focuses on advanced flow-through taxation topics and transactions. Each year, over 1,200 accountants and tax attorneys attend our seminars across the country.
