The Royal Agricultural University is recognised nationally and internationally as a leader in delivering education relating to agriculture, business, and the rural environment. \r\n\r\nAs the first agricultural educational institution in the English speaking world, established in 1845, the University offers a range of 30 different undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses in agriculture, food, business, equine, land management and real estate.\r\n\r\nIt has an enviably high employment rate of 94%, maintained over the past five years, which can be attributed, in part, to the strong industry links maintained by the RAU.\r\n\r\nThe University has an international student body from 45 different countries, and a powerful network of more than 14,000 alumni who continue to be at the forefront of the land-based sector worldwide.
