In 1935 , William A. Schnader, a distinguished attorney general of Pennsylvania, recruited Bernard Segal, who had helped him run a vigorous attorney general's office, as the first attorney to join him at the Firm. Bernie Segal would go on to become President of the ABA, a passionate civil rights lawyer and a true legal hero. Today Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP represents the interests of national and international clients throughout the United States. The firm has grown to include offices in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Wilmington, DE and Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Our common bond is a commitment to excellence, hard work and a dedication to serving the firm's clients and their communities
