3stepIT is an IT services company: We offer IT lifecycle management services to help our clients acquire IT equipment (especially IT devices, like laptops, desktops & smartphones), to manage them in use, and then to refresh them after a planned life. A planned life cycle offers many benefits: recent devices are more reliable and cost less to support. So the IT service level goes up; users work more efficiently; employees like using new equipment, so it can help with recruiting, and it makes the right impression on the clients they visit too. We remove replaced devices, erase their data, and then refurbish the devices. We resold 97% of returned devices in 2018, so our approach helps to make clients' IT more sustainable too. Our Remarketing organisation purchases used laptops, desktops, monitors and smartphones; again erasing their data before refurbishing and resale. Our 2019 revenue was EUR 682 million. We serve over 4000 customers and manage 2,1 million assets for them. We sell direct and also work with financing organisations, and IT channel partners. The balance of this direct vs. partner business varies by country. We try to ensure our services complement the IT channel, rather than compete with it, so together we can serve clients more effectively. We employ around 430 people in 8 countries.
