In September 2015, we opened the first Le Botaniste, reinventing the 19th-century-style pharmacy into a plant-based organic food and wine bar, serving the city of Ghent, Belgium. Four months later, our first U.S. store opened its doors on the Upper East Side in New York City. Today, Le Botaniste offers its prescriptions at three Belgium locations (Brussels-Schuman, Brussels-Louise, and Ghent) and three locations in NY (UES, Soho and 43rd and 3rd). In our reinvented 19th-century-style pharmacies, everything on our menu is ordered, assembled, and served at the counter veggie bar. It’s a place that’s creatively healthful. A place that encourages experimenting with new flavors and textures. And for those still unfamiliar with the way we do things, our team is there to offer friendly support if needed. We believe in an upgraded fast casual standard with a beautiful, sustainable space for healthy food and wine. Our large and light-filled dining rooms offer a comfortable and cozy set-up to enjoy. It’s a space where a solo diner is comfortable but where friends can meet and share a bite or a drink.
