About
Kana Pipeline, Inc. was founded in 1984 by Daniel A. Locke. Originally installing fire lines and sewer laterals for self-storage sites, Kana has grown into a multi million-dollar corporation. Services now include sewer, water, and storm drain installation, as well as installation of concrete storm drain structures such as pump stations, storm ceptors, and retention systems. Hardscape, landscape, concrete, and asphalt pavement are additional services in conjunction with its pipeline work. Customers range from general contractors and developers to property owners and public agencies. Projects range in size from a few thousand dollars to several million dollars. Kana keeps the majority of project work in-house, only subcontracting 2% to outside resources. Kana serves all of Southern California. Kana has over 500 vendors that can supply any quality materials and equipment to any location throughout California. Full time mechanics and welders perform expert maintenance and repair on over 150 pieces of equipment and trucks. This ensures a reduction in project downtime and keeps construction progress on schedule. Customers often rely on Kana’s knowledge and experience for value engineering ideas and expert advice on project design and material specifications. The value of engineered savings have resulted in as much as 12% savings to the owner/ agency.
