Hawaii Transfer Company (HTC) is a lite-asset based 3PL solutions provider of transportation, warehousing and other services to the Government and Commercial Businesses. Established in 1931 by R. Okumura and incorporated as Hawaii Transfer Co., Ltd. in 1962, Gordon Okumura, President of HTC carries on the tradition of quality service started by his father. With our network of partners we are able to provide various solutions for our clients throughout the entire Hawaiian Island chain.
HTC has one of the largest trucking fleets in Hawaii. With a fleet of 200 different types of cartage equipment and over a hundred trucks, we are able to accomodate a large variety of needs for our clients.
We provide a wide range of cost-efficient distribution services. Combined with a long history of professional experience, HTC represents a class of transportation services unmatched in Hawaii.
When customers required distribution points closer to the point of sale for improved re-order flexibility, Hawaii Transfer ventured into public warehousing. HTC grew from a mere 20,000 square-foot operations in the early 1980's, now over 200,000 square feet of storage space strategically in three locations today. HTC operates a very sophisticated operation with a state-of-the-art WMS system, linking enterprise accounts to small businesses with EDI capability.
