About
When the O'Bryan family founded the Owensboro Grain Company in 1906, the town boasted six buggy makers, five wagon manufacturers, a wagon wheel factory and a dozen blacksmiths. Over the next 30 years the company continued to increase its manufacturing of white and yellow corn and wheat to local distillers and mills. Then, in 1940, the company expanded to include soybean processing. Today, the buggy makers have been replaced by electronics manufacturers, but Owensboro Grain remains as a thriving privately-held business whose roots are still tied closely to the soil. As successful soybean processors and grain merchandisers, we have carried on a long family tradition of combining hard work and high technology to produce dependable quality products that deliver a high degree of customer satisfaction.
