ShalePro (formerly Basin Energy Group) was founded in 2014 as a holding company for ProActive Services, the largest outsourced provider of compressor operations and support in the Marcellus Shale footprint. Throughout the year, ShalePro continued to merge other subsidiaries offering a wide range of industry services: Starett Energy Services (2015 - General Roustabout Services), Appalachian Production Services (2016 - Well Tending/Site Services), and Katko (2017 - Well Hook-ups/Construction/Fabrication Services).
