Color Ink, established in 1985 in Hartland, Wisconsin, by its CEO/Owner, James Meissner. It started as an extension of a commercial art studio, which offered print brokering services. By 1988, Color Ink had installed three Heidelberg printing presses and was rapidly outgrowing the Hartland location. In 1989, the company relocated to its current location in Sussex WI where it now occupies a 100,000 square foot building and employs almost 100 people.
