Parker Core Knowledge is is one of Douglas County's oldest and most prestigious P-8 charter schools. Since opening in 1994, PCK has earned a solid reputation for excellence in academics and character education. PCK was the proud recipient of the 2016 National Blue Ribbon Schools distinction, reflecting the schools placement in the top one half of one percent of schools nationwide, and named a 2017 National School of Character.
The rigorous Core Knowledge curriculum is delivered by a highly effective teaching staff and supported by involved parents who place a high priority on academics. At PCK, the Core Knowledge curriculum is further enriched by the foreign language, physical education, art, music and technology programs for all kindergarten through eighth grade students. When combined with after-school clubs, music/theater productions and competitive sports teams, PCK students have many opportunities to learn, grow and explore.
