1928 Diagnostics offer easy-to-use bioinformatic analysis Software-as-a-Service of whole genome sequencing data for infection diagnostics and surveillance. 1928 Diagnostics combines cloud computing and automated bioinformatics into a cloud-based software, capable of handling the large datasets generated from whole genome sequencing machines. The raw data file is simply uploaded, directly from the sequencing machine, to our Software-as-a-Service platform, 1928D. In the platform the data is processed, searching for resistance genes and mutations, as well as typing analysis. The generated resistance and virulence profiles and typing pattern is used by the clinician as a decision support in choosing the right antibiotic treatment and for outbreak control and surveillance.
