Santa Rosa, California: Flowmaster, Inc., manufacturer of high performance mufflers and complete exhaust systems, is proud to announce 15+ years of excellence in the exhaust aftermarket. Just over fifteen years ago in 1983, Flowmaster was started in a small 800 square foot barn in Kenwood, California. This small beginning in the birth of Flowmaster is where founder Ray Flugger worked on his creative ideas and developed strong engineering principles in order to create his famous "Suitcase" racing mufflers. These innovative new mufflers resulted from thousands of hours of Dyno research and on-track testing around the country. As company President, Ray Flugger, worked his magic producing more horsepower for many kinds of racing engines while at the same time lowering exhaust sound levels. It is through this extensive testing and dedication to the sport that Flowmaster has been able to help in the preservation of race tracks throughout the country.
