Joe Supor started "Supor Trucking" in 1960 with a 1948 Ford truck... Hauling oil in the winter and steel in the summer, kept him busy in the early years. As the steel hauling expanded, Joe Supor proportionally increased his operations, and in the late 1960s he had five trucks on the road. However, diversification was already very much in his mind, and in 1968 the Supor trucking company broadened its base to become a trucking and rigging company; crane service soon followed providing additional business. Responding to the requirements of the market, the company bought heavier trucks and trailers, and steadily gained a reputation for expertise and excellence that has stood it in good stead ever since.
