Everyone on the BSI team is extremely committed to delivering a quality product. BSI's total quality program centers on the company principle that every client's needs as defined in the plans and specifications for their respective project will be met or exceeded. Quality control is implemented throrugh the review of plans and specifications for constructability and cost effectiveness, detailed quantity takeoffs in every category to totally know and understand the job, extensive pre bid discussions and meetings with prospective subcontractor bidders to explain quality expectations, dialogue with the designers to fully understand quality expectation levels, advance contact with material and equipment suppliers to ensure conformance to specification requirements, and assembling and pre-qualifying the best available subcontractor and supplier firms and motivating them to participate in our project bid base. In the field, our quality control program starts with a thorough review of subcontractor shop drawings by the project engineering staff to assure that the contractor's initial planning conforms to the contract requirements and normal practices for first-class workmanship. The BSI team will then continue to work with the owner and design team throughout construction and building commissioning to insure that the building meets or exceeds expectations.
