The Grand Cypress Resort is comprised of 1,500 acres in Orlando, Florida. In January of 1984, the 9-hole North and South courses opened along with the 750-room Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. Two years later, in 1986, the 9-hole East Course teed off with the 146 Villas of Grand Cypress. To complete our 45 holes of golf, the 18-hole New Course opened to resort guests in 1988. All aspects of the resort have been the recipient of numerous awards and accolades through the years, and continuing on to today. The Grand Cypress Resort is committed to providing the ultimate guest experience, exceptional resort facilities and attention to detail ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction. Our facilities include: 146 room Villas of Grand Cypress, with 7,200 square feet of meeting space 750 room Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, with 65,000 square feet of meeting space The Grand Cypress Golf Club, with 45 holes of Jack Nicklaus designed golf The Grand Cypress Academy of Golf, with 3 holes of Jack Nicklaus designed golf The Grand Cypress Equestrian Center The Grand Cypress Racquet Club Grand Cypress Resort is owned by Grand Cypress Florida, Inc., which directly manages the Villas of Grand Cypress, Golf Club, Academy of Golf, and Equestrian Center. Hyatt Corporation is contracted by Grand Cypress Florida, Inc. to manage the hotel and Racquet Club and they maintain their own staff of employees. Both companies share a commitment to excellence. All of our guests are able to enjoy the full range of amenities offered throughout the resort regardless of whether they stay at the hotel or the villas.
