Hoffer Plastics is a family owned custom injection molding company of thermoplastic materials located in South Elgin, Illinois since 1953. Operating 91 presses in an air conditioned state-of-the-art 360,000 sq. ft. facility. The company employs approximately 375 people. In addition to competitive wages and a comprehensive benefit package, training and continuing education is expected and encouraged. This is accomplished through a full time in-house Training Coordinator, Elgin Community College, seminars, and a generous tuition reimbursement program. Career development and advancement is, to the extent possible, accomplished by promoting our employees from within the organization. As an example, the company employs nine plant managers and eight of them started with Hoffer as injection molding machine set up trainees.
