About
Campus Election Engagement Project (CEEP) is a national nonpartisan project that is dedicated to support America's colleges and universities encourage as many of their 20 million students as possible to register, educate themselves, and turn out at the polls. Focusing on ways administrators, faculty, staff, and student leaders can use their resources to engage their students electorally, we launched with a 2008 pilot effort and have worked directly with higher education institutions since 2012. We worked with over 300 campuses in 2016, with a combined enrollment of 3.5 million students, while partner organizations distributed our resources to another 1,000 schools. In 2018, we have doubled our staff and increased our territory to twenty states. In the fall, we will hire 265 student fellows across the country to create programs that best fit their institution and encourage their peers to become engaged. We work primarily through the state offices of the major higher education service learning organization Campus Compact, and with other allied higher education organizations and networks, such as National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, American Association of Colleges and Universities, Youth Service America, and the National Communications Association. We are excited to continue producing high-quality resources and consulting personally with universities across the country in order to give students the materials they need to make their voice heard.
