The Messenger Public Library informs, connects, and enriches the community of North Aurora. The Library is a member of the DuPage Library System, participates in the Magic consortium of libraries and has an active Friends group. Emeline Messenger was instrumental in constructing and opening the library as part of the Works Progress Adminstration in 1937. In recognition of Mrs. Messenger's nearly 50 years of service to the library, the board of trustees voted to re-name the library the “Messenger Public Library of North Aurora†in 1985.Messenger Public Library of North Aurora Address
