Leonard S. Fiore, Inc. is one of seven charter members of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc., (ABC) founded in 1963. The firm is a member of the Clinton County Economic Partnership, the National Concrete Pumping Association, and the Altoona-Blair County and State College Chambers of Commerce (CBICC), and the U. S. Chamber of Commerce, along with BOCA (Building Official and Code Administrator Association). The company is also a charter member of the Blair County Home Builders Association. In 1998 Leonard S. Fiore, Inc. was inducted into the Blair County Business Hall of Fame. Leonard S. Fiore Sr. is a Lifetime Member of both the national Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. organization and the Central Pennsylvania chapter. He served as president of the Central Pennsylvania chapter for two years, as national assistant secretary for one year, and on the national board of directors for two years. Leonard Sr. served for 12 years as a member of the Altoona Planning Commission and also served as a director of the Altoona Branch of the Pennsylvania Economy League. Leonard S. Fiore Sr. has also served for many years on the Financial Committee for the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown. Leonard Sr. belongs to the Altoona Lions, Knights of Columbus and Tip Club, and he is a past president of the St. Rose of Lima Council. Leonard Jr. was president of the Central Pennsylvania ABC chapter for three years, was a member of the state board of directors for two years, and has served on the national board for five years. Leonard Jr. also serves on the Board of Directors of Mellon Bank, Central PA. Richard Fiore serves on the Alumni Board and the President's Council of St. Francis College. He served two years as President of the Blair County Home Builders Association, and he is a member of the Athletic Association of Bishop Guilfoyle High School. Michael Fiore is a current member of the ABC board of directors at the national and chapter levels where he has served for the past 12 years. He is past president of the Central Pa ABC, and also served on the state board of directors of ABC. He is a member of the U.S. Senate Inner Circle. He serves on the Altoona Career and Technology Center Steering Committee and the Local Advisory Committee.
