Robert Dawson, Clifford Johnson, and John Kibler founded CCB, Inc. (formerly known as Consolidated Constructor & Builders, Inc.) as a Delaware Corporation in January 1945. The main office was located in New York City with a branch office in Portland, Maine. :1963 saw the first major change for the company. The founders retired with Edward Milvaney, and Stanley Pawlowski assuming ownership and management of the company. The New York office was closed and the main office was moved to Portland to service the growing market in Northern New England.
